Q&A on Covid booster jabs and vaccinations for young people
We're holding a Facebook live event on Tuesday, October 12, at 1.30pm to answer your questions about Covid-19 booster vaccinations and jabs for children.
Dr Ruth Goldstein and Dr Whitney Curry from Public Health, along with Dr Iain Davidson from NHS Kernow, will be on hand to answer your questions.
You can also submit questions in advance by emailing phdesk@cornwall.gov.uk with the subject 'Facebook Live'. Hit the button below at 1.30pm on Tuesday to join the Live Q& A.
Viruses like flu and Covid-19 spread quickly when we’re all crowded together inside. That’s why it is more important than ever to get vaccinated this autumn.
Your winter vaccines invite should be arriving soon - either by text or a letter in the post. Look out for yours.
🟠 People who are struggling with mental ill health, having thoughts of suicide or worried about a friend or family member can now 'push the button' when they see someone displaying a distinctive orange badge and ask for information and support.
The Orange Button is worn by people who have undergone mental health first aid or suicide prevention training. While they are not able to counsel people, they can help you find relevant services.
There is still time for residents, community groups and organisations to have their say about our draft Leisure Resources Strategy, which includes proposed changes to the provision of leisure centres in Cornwall.
The pandemic has had a devasting impact on the leisure sector across the country, and the loss of income due to the pandemic is having a long term impact on how leisure services in Cornwall can be provided in future.
You can find out more on the Let’s Talk Cornwall website and complete our online survey. Paper copies are available by calling 0300 1234 100. The consultation closes on 31 October.
