If gathering in-person isn't right for you at this time, we invite you to stay connected via our online options. Our sermon podcasts are available for you to listen anytime you'd like on our website, www.sdfcnaz.com. This week's recording will be available by 10am on Sunday morning.
BARB & STAR LIVE!
Sunday, October 17th ● 11:30AM–1:30PM

Join us on October 17th, live and in-person, for the Barb & Star Telethon, Variety Show & Pie Auction! Immediately following our 10:30am Unified Service, we invite you to join us for a free BBQ lunch on the Friendship Plaza!

Then, we'll head back into Brown Auditorium and watch as Barb & Star, alongside some special guests, will perform to raise money to send our kids and teens to camp. You won't want to miss this one-of-a-kind camp fundraising event. We'll see you there!

Want to learn a bit more about the show? Check out the video below to hear from Barb & Star themselves!
SDFC Young Adults
FOOD & FILM
Tuesday, October 12 ● 6–8:30PM ● Youth Room

This month, SDFC Young Adults is inviting the young adults in our community to join us for a movie screening & discussion of Disney/Pixar's "Coco"! We'll have classic movie snacks, candy and drinks, and gather in the Youth Room to watch the movie on the projector screen, and then have a brief conversation about the movie's themes afterwards! Come and hang with us!

Questions? Contact tyler@sdfcnaz.com!
SOCK DRIVE
To benefit Loaves & Fishes in O.B.

Over the next few weeks, we'll be collecting new and unused socks that will be donated to Loaves & Fishes, a pantry in O.B. that serves the area's homeless and low-income communities. The demand for socks, as well as new or lightly-used shoes, increases significantly during this time of year.

We invite you to bring any new or unused socks you can provide with you to church this Sunday, and drop them off in the marked basket that will be in the foyer of both of our worship spaces!
Thank you!

Pastor's Appreciation Month
October is Pastor's Appreciation Month...

Over the past year, many extra responsibilities and unknowns have been encountered by our church staff. We greatly appreciate the pastoral staff's leadership in overseeing our return to in-person worship formats and the restarting of other church programming and ministries.

Cards and notes of appreciation are encouraged. They may be sent to the church address:
3901 Lomaland Drive
San Diego, CA 92106

Or directly to our pastors' email addresses:
Thank you for your participation!

Sincerely,
Your Church Board
