Each year The Evelyn Trust approves new grants in Cambridgeshire totalling around £1 million for health projects from the clinic to the community. 

Our annual deadline for our larger grants, which can be up to £250,000,
is 30 November
.

If you have a Medical Research project, a Large Health and Wellbeing project, or a capital project that will make a difference to the health of the population, then see the grant pages on our website for details:

Here are some examples of great projects funded by The Evelyn Trust in the past:

  • A proof of concept study to develop oral immunotherapy for children with severe peanut allergy
  • A project to explore a technique to manage brain swelling after a Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Improving kidney transplant compatibility
  • Setting up a surgical training centre
  • A hospice day care centre
  • Community mental health services for children and for those experiencing homelessness
  • Online family learning project to increase social mobility

*Please note that, in addition to this annual programme for larger grants, we also have a rolling programme of Small Health and Wellbeing Grants of £4,000-£10,000, which can be applied for at any time.
