3️⃣ AI Ethics - 2nd Iteration
We began our journey with a precise mindset: AI is a means.
Well, before being a means, Artificial Intelligence is a discipline. It has to do with statistics (see Data Science), but sometimes it does not.

AI is "cool things that computers can't do." This joke suggests that when we make progress in AI and do something "cool" with a computer, it stops being our dream of AI and becomes statistics. Or, I guess, this is how statisticians make fun of data scientists.

We look for AI when we need to automate decision-making processes because automation improves efficiency (increased productivity in a reduced cycle time). With progress in AI, we end up facing the paradox of automation:
"The more efficient the automated system, the more crucial the human contribution of the operators. Humans are less involved, but their involvement becomes more critical." A highly efficient system is, indeed, also highly efficient in reproducing its errors.
Ironically, humans still need to stay in the loop to get rid of human error.
