Research Collaboration with ADHD Europe, Prof. Sandra Kooij & Dora Wynchank (PsyQ, Netherlands)
You are invited to participate in Research!!

We already know that there is currently a lack of research focusing on adult women with ADHD - especially from the perspective of these women themselves. The aims of this survey are to:

1. Understand the overall experience of adult women with ADHD
2. Explore the links between ADHD and other health conditions
3. Identify barriers to diagnosis and sources of support
4. Recognize what needs to be researched further and which interventions are needed

The ADHD Women Project

The Knowing Me, Knowing You! support groups is an initiative by ADHD, ASC & LD Belgium AISBL, a non profit charity and ADHS Deutschland A.V (Germany) who have joined forces to raise awareness for ADHD in Women under the #Brainlifegoals campaign grant awarded by EFNA (European Federation of Neurological Conditions). This grant has enabled us to create the website https://adhd-women.eu for women who have or suspect they have ADHD / ADD! Both organisations are members of ADHD Europe.

More about ADHD, ASC & LD Belgium

Our #brainlifegoals project ended at end of May 2021, and our non profit organisation ADHD, ASC & LD Belgium have decided to continue the project to continue making a difference in women's lives. Here is a recent article that you may find interesting, it explains our organisation, volunteers, and our efforts to advocate for those living with ADHD.

Peer to Peer Support Groups

We have held several Peer to Peer support groups since May 2021. Women who have (or suspect that they may have) ADHD/ADD join our meetings, exchanging & sharing experiences. We also discuss how our challenges we experience can be turned into strengths in a positive way.

Come and join our safe place for sharing, helping one another and getting advice from our two wonderful ADHD Educator facilitators: Joanne Norris, Ed.D., ADHD & ASC Coach and Donnalea Barber, Life and ADHD Coach. Visit our website to read more about our facilitators or to register for the next meeting  https://adhd-women.eu/support-guidelines/support-groups/
