Making public spaces safer for children and young people

Do you want to learn more about how you can make public spaces safer for children and young people? If so, Devon and Cornwall Police are offering a free training courses this week.

We all have a role to play in preventing child exploitation. The effects of child exploitation are felt throughout society – from child sexual exploitation, criminal exploitation and 'county lines', to modern slavery and human trafficking. Businesses often sit at the heart of these communities.

More and more business are joining us in the fight to prevent the harm of young people. Learn how the private sector can help, from working with councils and police to make high streets safer; training staff to spot the signs of exploitation; to developing corporate partnerships and bringing corporate social responsibility to life.
