Tampa Bay Citizens Academy on Transportation
Register for this free eight-week virtual e-learning course about how transportation projects are planned/prioritized in the City of Tampa. Classes will begin on October 13th and end on December 8th. Live class sessions will be held on Wednesdays from 5pm to 7pm. Sessions will be recorded and available for registered students only.
2021 NHL Face-Off Concert at Tampa Convention Center and The Sail Plaza
On October 12th, check out this free All Time Low concert and a special appearance by the Stanley Cup in downtown Tampa before the Tampa Bay Lightning raise their third Stanley Cup championship banner inside AMALIE Arena. The free concert will originate from a stage in the waters where the Hillsborough River meets the Garrison Channel. The band’s performance will be free and open to fans to enjoy on land from the Tampa Convention Center’s Sail Plaza or via boat in Garrison Channel starting at 5:30 p.m. ET.
Prime Time with Purchasing
The City of Tampa is inviting city-certified subcontractors to take part in Prime Time with Purchasing, an event on October 27th that provides the opportunity to explore small to medium construction/construction-related jobs with City contracted prime firms.
Job of the Week
The Mobility Department is looking for a Stormwater Engineer III (N/S) to participate in analysis, design and construction of storm drainage systems, streets, sidewalks, and other municipal structures, sanitary sewers, or water systems. This position will also reads and interpret construction documents, technical drawings and diagrams to determine proper interface configurations.
