Everyone Needs a Plan to Retire

2020 was the year we never expected. When Covid hit we were not prepared for the severe impact it would have on virtually all aspects of our lives. We were forced to adapt to a new way of living and doing in a very short space of time, and unfortunately, we were ill prepared for the challenges posed by the pandemic and especially the financial challenges that came with Covid. Employees look to HR Managers and wellness practitioners for guidance regarding their financial wellness in tough times such as experienced during Covid. Financial wellness includes planning for your retirement. Retirement is a long-term journey, and many employees became derailed over the last year and a half in their retirement planning. Join us as we look at how secure our employees feel about their retirement and we find out how we can assist them to get back on the road to financial wellness and confident retirement.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER - WHO IS ELBIE?
Ms Venter started out as a teacher in 1990 but soon realised that she would have prefer to work with adults and thus she became qualified in training adults instead. Her whole work life has been spent in the financial industry and the financial upskilling of intermediaries and clients. She has presented on different forums such as Sanlam Roadhows and conferences as well as clients from different spheres of life. Ms Venter works closely with the Sanlam key account specialists in both the public and private sectors.

Attendance on Zoom is recorded by the software - we are able to see the time you log on and log off. This is a wonderful report that allows for accurate and reliable reporting for the various Councils.

Our Seminars are 90 minutes in duration, attendees are to be online for a minimum of 1 hour to receive the CPD Points allocated.

1 CPD Point per Seminar will be awarded to attendees
EAPA-SA has launched our own CPD Points that will become a pre-requisite for Membership renewals in 2021.
EAPA-SA CPD Points are recognised by the HPCSA. HPCSA will convert your CPD Points to CEUs where the content of the seminar is relevant to your profession.

SANC
An application has been submitted to SANC for recognition of the EAPA-SA CPD points and we are awaiting the outcome.
