📈  STOCK UP

🔺 Lead The Pack. The Head Hog has given us our marching orders and Coach Muss is falling in line—get your ticket here and grab a set for this weekend's Homecoming game against Auburn.

🔺 Six To One. KJ Jefferson is the only QB in the SEC—and one of six in the FBS—with 1,200 passing yards and 300 rushing yards on the year. And his performance against Ole Miss earned him a(nother) spot on the Davey O'Brien Award Great 8 list!

🔺 Three's A Crowd. The only team in the country with three players who have rushed for more than 300 yards this season? That's right... it's the Hogs.

🔺 Steady As A Rock. It's another early start for Arkansas football next week as the Hogs meet up with University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff in Little Rock for an 11:00am CT kickoff. Set those alarms, y'all.

🔺 A World Of Difference. Just more than a half-century ago, Jon Richardson stepped on the field as the first African-American scholarship football player at the University of Arkansas. He broke down barriers with grace and dignity on and off the field. On Saturday morning, Razorback Athletics will celebrate Richardson with a plaque dedication in Richardson’s honor at the Difference Makers Plaza at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. ON THE LOOKOUT

Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. The Hogs have a chance to put the last two weeks behind them and get back in the win column. And that'll take hard work, and more than a few hours inside the film room looking at where they can capitalize over Auburn.

Travis Swanson and Coach Z are back with a trio of breakdowns to help you understand the Razorbacks' next opponent... as well as just how good this offense showed themselves to be in Oxford.

▶️  Breaking Down The Auburn Tigers: After losing to Georgia, Auburn is coming into Fayetteville with the same chip on their shoulder as Arkansas had two weeks ago. What did the Tigers show in that game that the Hogs can use to their advantage?

▶️  Re-living The 2011 Win: Ten years ago, both of these teams met up in a top-15 matchup that started out close. But then the Hogs ran away with it, scoring 31 unanswered points on their way to an 11-2 season.

▶️  A Big Day In Oxford: Sometimes it's hard to find positives in a loss, but when you put up 51 points there's plenty to build on. What can Arkansas bring over this week into their Auburn matchup?

ENOUGH SAID

There's no place like home. Arkansas will spend their next four weeks on The Hill, with their first test being a Homecoming matchup against Auburn. And after having a couple of days to reflect on a shootout in Oxford, the Head Hog has a few tweaks to make for the Tigers.

It's all the Hog news that's fit to print. (Or be posted on a website.)

▶️  QB1: Coach Pitt had more than a few compliments for KJ Jefferson at the beginning of the press conference, saying that QB1 "made some really nice throws" and showed toughness during the game. He's one of the most popular players on the team "because of the way he handles his business and what he does on the football field."

▶️  Make Change: There will be changes coming to the defensive side of the ball after giving up 611 yards and 52 points to Ole Miss: He said the team did not get after Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral as well as he liked and the "secondary support was poor".

▶️  Loud And Clear: Coach Pitt stressed the importance of having a loud, proud home crowd, pointing to how much of an advantage it was in beating Texas and how difficult it was to play at Georgia: "I'm just telling you the football team needs the fans. We need them here on Saturday."

▶️  Early Favorite: With yesterday's announcement that next week's UAPB game would be an 11:00am CT kickoff, this Saturday will mark the third of four straight early kickoffs. And if you think Coach Pittman would rather start later in the day, you'd be wrong. The Head Hog said he likes early games because it gives the team more time to reflect on the game and correct mistakes.

Arkansas returns to practice today in the lead up to their next matchup on Saturday against Auburn. Kickoff is at 11:00am CT on CBS.

THE RAZORBACK DAILY

KJ BECOMING A BIG TIME PLAYER

KJ Jefferson is just getting better and better. Quinn Grovey and Coach Z break down how he's taking his game to the next level. And the guys look back on a big upset the Hogs pulled off 20 years ago this week.

Finally, we can't end the show without giving Razorback soccer props after rolling to their 11th straight win.

It's all on today's episode of The Razorback Daily!
