Weekly Announcements: October 11th, 2021

Hey everyone!
Here are your weekly announcements:

Registration

Registration is continuing this week. You must complete your membership packet, join Hornslink, and pay dues; these are not optional. As a reminder, you must bring a copy of your health insurance and your car insurance if you plan to drive people for any Texas Ballroom event. Finally, we ask that you fill out this form for our internal roster. Further, if want to attend any competitions with Texas Ballroom, this must be completed ASAP. We are now at a point in the semester where we will begin reaching out to you if we are still missing essential items, so try to complete everything before we need to do that.

DWO Competition

We will be competing at Rice's annual Dancing with Owls competition soon. Registration information will be due on Friday, October 29th, so start thinking in the next couple weeks if you would like to attend. For those who are not going to SMU, this is a great opportunity to attend your first comp and see what they are like!

DDF Competition

The country team will also be competing at the Dallas Dance Festival in early November (11-13th). If you are interested in competing, your country captains ask that you fill out this form by this Thursday, October 14th. If you want to see what county competitions are like, or wish to compete at worlds, this is an excellent opportunity for you.
