GLORIFY GOD, LOVE PEOPLE, MAKE DISCIPLES

We apologize there were several errors in our last e-mail.
They have been fixed in this version.

FALL SERVICE TIMES

Fall hours have started: Heritage Service at 8:30 a.m.,
the Contemporary Services at 9:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.
with Sunday School at 10:15 a.m.

ADULT MINISTRIES

Missions Sunday is coming up on 11/14! All 25 missionaries we partner with will be represented at various booths and tables throughout the Worship Center. There will be food, flags, pictures, prayer needs, newsletters, updates, opportunities to serve, etc. Feel free to walk through before/after the services as well as during the Sunday School hour to visit the missions tables from each missionary around the USA and World. There will be no Sunday School on Nov. 14th to allow everyone to join in the fun. The Great Commission is GREAT because of the urgent and all-inclusive nature of Jesus’ challenge to the church to share His message of salvation to everyone everywhere. Pastor Mich will also be speaking on that Sunday.
If you are not currently connected to a small group
but would like to be, consider joining one of the
Sharing And Learning Together groups.
Each group has teaching, fellowship, prayer
and usually something to eat.

What's Happening in November?

Enduring the holidays without your loved one is an extremely difficult and emotional time. “Grieving Through the Holidays” offers help with holiday grief, as well as hope. This half-day seminar is filled with workable helps, ideas, and plans for those who have lost loved ones and will help navigate through grief during the upcoming holiday season. Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 13th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Madrona Hall’s Room 304 across from the office. There is no charge for this seminar and online registration is open. Click the image above for additional information, or contact Gloria Walsh.
For an update on our tour and for those still interested in the next Holy Land tour led by Pastor Brett, come to our informational meeting November 21, 2021 from 12:30-2:00 p.m., Room 205 (East Room). The tour dates are May 17-28th, 2022.  We will spend 8 days in Israel visiting such key areas as Caesarea, Nazareth, Mt. of Beatitudes, the Dead Sea, and Masada, to name just a few. On our second to last day, we will fly from Tel Aviv to Munich, Germany, where we will end our tour attending the Passion Play in the village of Oberammergau. For questions contact Sandy Shook.

On the Podcast NOW: Tune in to hear a conversation between two friends who met in the mission field. John Getzinger, one of our podcast team interviewers, chats with his friend Chip who is currently serving in East Asia. They unpack some issues we all face like conflict with other people, and what to do when life is hard and we don’t have all the answers. Chip talks about getting real and being honest with God, what to do with the heaviness of life situations, and what the Bible has to say about dealing with our emotions.
