Dear Friends

Time flies - particularly during periods of change, and there's no question that these past 18 months have brought many changes to how we practice medicine, and to our day-to-day lives.

One change for me was that October 3rd marked my very first participation in a Spartan Race. The event was extremely well organized. It was physically difficult, very difficult, but the overall experience was excellent. What inspired me was the feeling of accomplishment and brushing shoulders with so many other people dedicated to the Spartan way of taking on challenges. Check it Out on Facebook.

NeuroRounds is an educational, medical webinar designed as a Virtual Clinical Experience where neurosurgical cases are presented, diagnostic imaging is reviewed, and key facts are discussed. It's intended for Med Students, Pre-Med, NP’s, PA-C's or anyone looking to improve their skillset, and is conducted with 100% LIVE interaction between myself and the attendees. Hungry for knowledge? NeuroRounds is for you.

Our October 5th event featured Special Guest Dr. Alex Valadka, Professor of Neurosurgery at VCU and 2017-2018 President of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS). Care for a Taste or an invitation to the November 2nd edition?  Watch Here on my website.

How fast does time fly? It's hard to believe that November 9th will mark the 2nd Anniversary of the publication of my book "Cognitive Dominance : A Brain Surgeon's Quest to Out-Think Fear".

It has been incredibly gratifying to hear the feedback of readers who found the book to be helpful. I would be honored if any of you might choose to add the book to their winter reading or Christmas Shopping list. Don't hesitate to let me know what you think after reading.

Available on Amazon in paperback, Kindle, or audiobook format.

Thanksgiving is coming. Here's wishing you a warm, safe, and Happy Thanksgiving. As Covid has kept so many of us apart for some time, I hope this will be a very special Thanksgiving for you and your loved ones.

Warm Regards
Mark
