Hello Parents, Families and Supporters of Clarkson Students,
In lieu of the precarious weather conditions we are anticipating for tomorrow, Saturday 10/30, we are moving a number of Family Weekend events inside.
Please see the updated locations below and please note any other location changes for specific events, highlighted in yellow. Events today, Friday 12/29 that are planned outside, will still be held outside. Please follow us on Instagram @ClarksonU.OSL for the most updated information.
Updated Event Locations: If the event is listed here, the location has changed and the new location is highlighted in yellow. If not, the event will be held in the location that is listed in the Family Weekend print schedule and Family Weekend Website.
9am Hiking Trip to Stone Valley with CUOC: Still planned to take place per CUOC leadership. The caravan will leave from the parking lot between the Quad and Cheel at 9am. Please arrive at 8:45am. For questions about the hike tomorrow, please email cuoc@clarkson.edu.
10:30am Coffee with the Collins’: (Student Center Multi-purpose rooms) Join President Tony Collins and members of the Parent and Family Association for a Coffee Hour.
11:30am Pumpkin Painting with the Chief Inclusion Office: (Diversity and Inclusion Office in the Student Center) Enjoy pumpkin and gourd painting, sipping hot beverages and meeting the staff of the Chief Inclusion Office.
1pm CUGI Tournament: (Student Center MPRs) Join the Clarkson University Gaming Initiative as they kick off their 24 hour tournament!
2-5pm Tailgate: (Student Center and ERC Atrium) Exact event locations are below. Tailgate food will be available at both locations.

Cornhole Tournament: (ERC Tent)
2:30pm Monster Mash with Dance Ensemble: (Student Center Forum)
3pm Pizza and Performances: (ERC Atrium) Join us by listening to performances from Golden Knotes and Orchestra while munching on pizza and cupcakes!
4pm Pumpkin Catwalk: (Student Center Forum) This student-group costume contest is something you won’t want to miss!
When you arrive on campus:

Please park in the Cheel Arena or Student Center parking lots. You may look for additional parking on campus as needed. Please reference the campus map when looking for parking.

If you are arriving on campus between the hours of 2-5pm on Saturday, October 30th, you will be required to check in at an OSL Registration table in the Student Organizations Suite in the Student Center. The registration table will open at 10am for guests who arrive and wish to check in prior to 2pm. We ask that you check in during those times.
Where you can go on campus:

Families are able to access open academic buildings to attend Family Weekend sessions or to use the restroom.

Families and guests may not enter the residence halls under any circumstances. This is for the protection and safety of your students.

If you are inside any campus buildings for any reason, you must wear a mask unless actively eating or drinking.

Family Weekend Schedule - You can find the complete Family Weekend Schedule at https://www.clarkson.edu/family-weekend. If you would like Family Weekend swag, you will need to attend the Tailgate on Cheel Lawn and in the ERC tent on Saturday 10/30 between 2-5pm.

2021 Yearbook Sale - The class of 2021 Yearbook will be on sale at the Student Center front desk from the hours of 10am-7pm on Saturday, 10/30. The cost is $20 and we will have limited change on hand so please bring exact change if possible.

Spirit Pak - When our students arrive on campus they begin a life-long association with Clarkson and with their classmates. Your student is not only a first-year student; he/she is also a member of the Class of 2025! As a welcome bonus, the Alumni Relations Office invites you to purchase a Spirit Pack. Pick-up date and location: Spirit packs can be picked up at the alumni table near Natural in the Student Center on Saturday, October 30 from 2 - 5 PM.
