November 7: Black History Walking Tour
A repeat of our popular event from this summer, this tour highlights the new marker commemorating the Freedom Riders and emphasizes black military history in honor of Veterans Day. Sunday, November 7, 2:00–4:00 p.m., including a sit-down break. Meet at the public parking lot at 901 Sophia Street. $10/$8 for members.

December 5: Christmas Shopping in the 1950s Walking Tour
Before the mall and big box stores, downtown was the only place to shop. Stroll along Caroline Street as we explore the shops of the 1950s and how Fredericksburg celebrated Christmas. Sunday, December 5, 2:00–4:00 p.m., including a sit-down break. Meet at the public parking lot at 901 Sophia Street. $10/$8 for members.
