Preview Event:
Women Empowerment - to Overcome Challenges Together

As a preview to the World Cocoa Foundation Partnership Meeting, you are invited to join a free side event organized on Zoom by the Women In Cocoa & Chocolate Network (WINCC) on Tuesday November 16 at 3pm GMT.

Despite making up an estimated 50% of the cocoa labor force, women still do not have equal opportunities in the cocoa sector. Recent research by Oxfam has found that a clear gender strategy is often missing, while the challenges and solutions are well known.

Join WINCC for a thought-provoking discussion on how, by welcoming women empowerment and genuinely seeing women as vital partners, the sector can solve some of its challenges.
