What a week! Unfortunately, on Wednesday and Thursday 73 Dothan Brook students were forced to quarantine due to three unrelated cases. Asking students to stay out of school to quarantine is heart breaking (especially over the Halloween weekend). We are very thankful for the quick and caring response from every family that we reached out to. This allowed us to have students picked-up from school in a safe and efficient manner.
As students start to test and return to school, we will learn about the efficacy of our COVID mitigation measures. We will use this data to reflect upon our approaches and improve our practices. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

The DBS parking lot will be closed from 1:45 to 2:15 on November 5th for our Unity Day Protest!
If you are picking up on that day, please note that you will not be able to access the pick-up line until after that time.
Unity Day is November 5th.
On Unity Day children are encouraged to wear orange to show that we are united against bullying. We will end the day with an anti-bullying protest. The protest will run from 2:00 to 2:15. Families are encouraged to drive by and show to show their support.
Apple Sauce Collection
Dothan Brook will once again be collecting 6 packs of applesauce for the Hartford-Norwich Holiday Basket Program.
Please consider picking up an extra pack the next time you go grocery shopping.
Please send the applesauce in with your student anytime until December 3rd.
