The Conservation Council for Hawaii has experienced an eventful year, learning how to find new ways to engage our members, work with communities, and continue to be the Voice for Hawaii’s Wildlife at local, state, and national levels.
We also hit several major milestones in 2021, including the 71st anniversary of CCH as an organization, as well as our 50th anniversary as the Hawaii affiliate of the National Wildlife Federation! In early August, about 100 guests gathered in person on Oahu to celebrate those milestones. We were thankful to share a fun-filled evening of reconnection outdoors with our members, partners, and supporters. We want to extend our gratitude to all for adhering to the COVID-19 precautions in place at that time, and were grateful that we could enjoy a safe gathering prior to the surge of the Delta variant.
We will be sharing some highlights from the evening and other news from the last year during our upcoming membership meeting. We hope you will join us Saturday November 20, 2021 we will be hosting our VIRTUAL Annual Membership Meeting. We will start at 10:00am with a recap of the year’s events, followed by the election of incoming 2022 board members, and share our heartfelt mahalo to current board members, Bianca Isaki and Robin Kaye, as their terms end.
