Peace Walk on Saturday, December 11

The annual Nazareth-Bethlehem 10-mile Peace Walk began in 1960 as a Christian witness for peace. All persons of any age are welcome to join the pilgrimage, symbolic of the journey of Mary and Joseph. During the trek, pilgrims seek to reflect the non-violent life of Jesus Christ and the truth of Christ's forgiving love.

Participants meet at the parking lot at 529 E. Broad Street, Bethlehem before 10:45am on Saturday, December 11. Walkers will take the bus from this Broad St. location to Nazareth to begin the pilgrimage. In order to minimize the risk factors, there will not be a dinner at the end of the walk. Participants should bring a lunch and plenty of additional beverages and snacks. Face masks and proof of vaccination are required for the bus and the indoor parts of the walk.

Kindly register so the organizers can determine how many buses they need: https://www.peacewalk.org/register

MCCLV’ers, including the Pastor, will be walking. Join MCCLV in this important witness with other congregations.
