Saint Jude Parish Mission: "Faith Over Fear"
October 25-27, 2021
All are welcome to experience a revival of faith at the Saint Jude Parish Mission this week! Listen to energetic preaching from Fr. Joe Freedy, participate in inspiring praise and worship, and joyfully celebrate our shared faith together as one community! Find a list of this week's events – including a young adult meet-up – below:
Monday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. at St. Raphael Church
Sung Vespers, by the Ambrose-Romanos singers will lead the evening. Fr. Joe Freedy will then give a sermon on Faith: what it means, and how we can live it each day and responding to the challenges we face in society.
Tuesday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. at St. Raphael Church
Experience the power of Praise & Worship. Fr. Joe Freedy will lead Eucharistic Adoration and Solemn Benediction. Confessions will be available.
Wednesday, Oct. 27 at Sacred Heart Church
Join us at 6:00 p.m. before the Mission events on Wednesday for a Young Adult Meet-up. Pizza and snacks will be provided.
Find us in the Bishop Winter Room on the lower level of the church. Access to the room is from Alder Street using the doorway near the flagpole to the left of the DePaul School entrance (map, photo).
The closing Mission Renewal Mass beginning at 7 p.m. will be concelebrated by several priests followed by a Vigil of Saint Jude Celebratory wine and cheese reception.
