Fight for Good Foundation is South Africa's first ever anti-GBV initiative that takes women from victim to warrior in 12 weeks. Through the implementation of multi-sectoral responses to GBV, namely: legal, financial, physical, and psychological.

The highly anticipated media event was attended by various stakeholders, celebs, partners and governmental personnel and outlined the Foundations plight not only for The 16 Days of Activism, but for the new year to members of the press and public.

𝟭𝟲 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟭𝟲 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀, a legal vodcast and Podcast powered by The Fight for Good Foundation and the SSCN

During this 4-part series, Nicole Bessick sits down with some of the country’s most sought-after attorneys and legal experts who specialize in GBV litigation and the Protection of Women and Children. Each episode has an overarching theme and together they break down how GBV victims can get from crime to legal relief without a lawyer and without exuberant funds.

These 4 episodes will each part ways with 4 key legal facts for women experiencing GBV. 4 facts x 4 episodes make 16… and thus we have our love letter to the women of South Africa: 16 Facts for the 16 Days of Activism.

In her address, Co-Founder and Executive Director Nicole Bessick noted that “When Kinesh and I conceptualized the business, we knew we were occupying a niche, much-needed space in the anti-GBV ecosystem but we could never have imagined the outpour of love and unwavering support coming in from all ends. With this, we signify not only the launch of our foundation, but our plight to save the lives of 500 women through our 12-week programme for the year 2022.
