The work of the AMOS Ankeny Cluster is to take action on issues that concern the residents of Ankeny. One way to do so is to help voters to make informed choices. School Board elections for the Ankeny Community School District (ACSD) will take place on Tuesday, November 2. Seven candidates will be vying for three open seats. Members of Ankeny's AMOS core teams have interviewed each of the seven candidates on subjects of interest to AMOS, including candidacy motivation, children's mental health, equity & racial justice, and support for ACSD staff. All candidates have indicated their willingness to meet with AMOS representatives after taking office. A summary of the candidate responses are attached. Note that AMOS is a nonpartisan organization, and as such does not endorse any candidate for office.
