Vaccinations for face-to-face activities
In light of the Premier's clear message about having to be double-vaccinated to pretty much do anything, the Committee of Management has decided that we must ask members attending any face-to-face events (classes, Let's Dos, AGM, lunches etc.) to show proof that they have been fully vaccinated. Even though it seems that the venue should have this responsibility, we expect that they will pass it on to U3A Melbourne City.
The Committee believes that the only way this can be done is to ask the tutor/leader or class assistant to sight this proof, using:
- the Service Victoria app vaccination certificate page, or
- MyGov certification, in either digital or paper form.
Checking would need to be done only once for each class, Let's Do or other event.
Some classes/activities may resume next week. Please bring the appropriate evidence with you. Please visit the Victorian coronavirus website for guidance as to how to access your vaccination certification.
If you have any questions about this, please contact us at: citymelb@u3a.org.au.
The Committee thanks you for your cooperation in this matter.
