Promotion Power - every little bit counts!
The most effective promotion campaigns are multi-modal, using a number of methods e.g. flyer, email, social media, print, radio, newsletters, etc. Here's a few suggestions..
1. Please consider any local community publication (newsletter, website, radio, pin-up board) where you can let people know about this concert.
2. If you're on Facebook, please like our page and click "attending" to the concert event. Then invite your contacts!
Concert Run Sheet
Please print out this draft run sheet. It indicates what songs are to be sung from memory, as well as other details. The final copy will be placed in your black folder on the day.
Guest Artist
We are pleased to have Victoria Coxhill as our guest artist for this concert. Victoria is an accomplished soprano and led one of our Monday rehearsals in June. We look forward to hearing her beautiful voice!
Music Lights / Sconces
We will be sourcing a number of these sconces for the performance, but we still need about 10 more. If you have access to a clip-on music light please could you let Annette Pelling know.
COVID Marshalls needed
We're looking for around 3 non-member COVID Marshalls for this event, who will then be able to enjoy the concert for free. If you have a contact who is trained and interested could you please get in touch with Graham Boyer.
Member Login updates
Please check the Member Login section regularly for updates on things to rehearse ahead of next rehearsal, and ensure you come prepared to the next rehearsal. Well done for all the fantastic work you're already doing, it will really pay off at the concert!
Camp Accommodation
A reminder to please book your accommodation ASAP for March 25-27. Small group bookings are encouraged to really get into the 'camp' experience!
 Appreciation Moment
In the midst of all the things, I just wanted to finish by saying how good is it to be singing again.
It is a joy to lead you and hear your soaring harmonies in person, to work together, listen to one another and make energised, musical sound.
May you enjoy this process of concert preparation and the gift it is to sing and blend with others.
