Springtown Campout Weekend Is Almost Here

Whether you're headed to Campout or not, this post contains important information for the coming weekend. Please read carefully so that your weekend is blessed!

Here's the Campout 4-1-1

All You Need to Know About Campout Weekend
October 29-31 at Sequoyah State Park

Here are important facts about Springtown's Campout Weekend:
1. There's still time to sign up. Call or text Lora Weygandt at 479-228-1273.
2. The Park's address is 17131 Park 10, Hulbert, OK. The road to the Group Camp will be on the right shortly after entering the main park entrance. Please observe speed limit signs on the road to the Camp.
2. The Group Camp does allow pets.
3. Be sure to bring lawn chairs, hiking shoes, flash lights, your own bedding and towels if you're staying in a cabin, table games for Saturday night, and clothes for cooler weather and evenings.
4. Pastor Rick will be with us on Campout and be preaching our Sabbath sermon.
5. If you're planning to attend for just Sabbath and have not indicated such, please call/text Lora so we can plan for you at meals.
Here's the "loose" schedule. Remember, this is a relaxed weekend! lol
1. Friday Supper -- 5:30-6:45 pm
2. Friday Evening Worship -- 7 pm
3. Sabbath Breakfast -- 8 am
4. Sabbath School for Adults & Kids -- 9:30 am
5. Church with Pastor Rick -- 11 am
6. Sabbath Lunch at Noon
7. Afternoon Hike and Nature Center -- 2-5:30 pm
8. Dinner -- 5:30 pm
9. Sunset Worship -- 6:15 pm
10. Games, night hike, snacks, etc. after vespers.
11. Sunday Breakfast -- 8 am
12. Clean up and head home.
IMPORTANT: If you cannot attend the Campout, please know that there will be Adult Sabbath School and a Worship Service at the Springtown Church.

The Study Will Not Study This Coming Sabbath

Because of the Campout, The Study: Matthew 24 will NOT meet on Sabbath, October 30. Please join the next study on Sabbath, November 6, immediately after church.

Women's Study Group Returns

Monday, November 1, 10:30-11:30 am

All Springtown women and their friends are invited to begin a study of the book of Mark beginning November 1 at the home of Roberta Yeagley at 363 Wilson Drive in Gentry. Read Mark 1 in preparation for the first study.

Crunch Time for Non-Perishable Donations

Please Bring Your Food to Church or Prayer Meeting

As Thanksgiving fast approaches, we are still needing lots of non-perishable food items to fill our Holiday Food Baskets. We need everything from canned fruit/vegetables, pastas, rice, lunch items, flour, etc. We have plenty of peanut butter and jelly, so focus your donations in other directions.
