National i-THRIVE Community of Practice
November 2021

Save the date: i-THRIVE Grids: Developing a shared decision making tool for Integrated Care Systems Workshop

Date: Thursday 11th November
Time: 2 - 4pm
Registration: click here

Based on feedback from the National i-THRIVE Community of Practice, the current titles of the i-THRIVE Grids ('in NHS' and 'out of NHS') no longer are a helpful distinction. Given the move to Integrated Care Systems, we feel this is an excellent time to update these titles. In preparation, we took the grids to a young people’s feedback forum and obtained their initial impressions and suggestions. During this upcoming event, we will welcome your feedback or suggestions on what may be a more helpful and accurate descriptor.

If you are unable to attend, you can still share your thoughts about the i-THRIVE Grid titles by completing this brief poll.

There is also still time to contact us if you would like to showcase how your locality has implemented the i-THRIVE Grids at this or a future event. The team will provide coaching and practical support to build confidence and skill for anyone willing to share their learning. For more info, please email ithriveinfo@tavi-port.nhs.uk.

These sessions are organised and facilitated by experienced people from NHS operational settings who are also PHB exemplars. They are open to anyone thinking about developing their own personal health budget offer in children’s or adult’s mental health and /or learning disability and autism. You are welcome to attend one or all of the sessions.

Call out for future National i-THRIVE Community of Practice presenters

We want to increase opportunities for shared learning from the diverse communities across the country that are implementing the THRIVE Framework. In addition, we would like the diversity to be reflected in our presenters at webinars and face to face events to actively promote and encourage diverse perspectives. The team will provide coaching and practical support to build confidence and skill for anyone willing to share their learning.

Feedback from a number of presenters have been that the National i-THRIVE Community of Practice events have been a friendly introduction to presenting on a national scale for which we can provide a certificate to validate the contribution.

Please contact us at ithriveinfo@tavi-port.nhs.uk if you would like to discuss taking this forward.
If you have any queries about implementing the THRIVE Framework for system change (Wolpert et al., 2019), please contact the team at ithriveinfo@tavi-port.nhs.uk. We will endeavour to help in any way we can.

With warm wishes,
