The words of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 5:19 have always inspired me and filled me with inexpressible joy. One of the most profound hymns in my life is What A Friend We Have In Jesus. I was nine years old when my father abandoned my five siblings and me leaving our mom to raise us alone. As a child, I experienced great sadness. I remember hearing the hymn one Sunday morning at church as all six of us sat at our usual pew and worshiped. As the tears began to fall down my face, I breathed a sigh of relief that everything would be OK – that I had a friend who understood me and the challenges I faced.  READ MORE

FOOD PANTRY Holiday Wishlist | We are quickly heading into the holiday season and the FOOD PANTRY will be putting together Thanksgiving meals to give to those in need. Would you please consider picking up some of the items on the holiday wishlist and dropping them off before November 15th? Click HERE to see the list. 
FALL FESTIVAL | October 30th, 4-6 PM.  Children and families are invited to join us for an evening of food, live music, trunk-or-treat, games, costumes, and candy!  We are currently accepting donations of individually wrapped candy in the church lobby.  If you are interested in volunteering, let us know HERE.
Operation Christmas Child | It's that time of year!  Operation Christmas Child boxes and info on how to build them will be in the lobby starting Sunday, October 3rd.  If you are interested in volunteering during collection week November 15th-22nd, please email Amber HERE
 
 
REFORMATION DAY CELEBRATION | Sunday, October 31st, at 6 PM.  Reverend Scott Simmons will be preaching at Westminster Presbyterian Church | 402 East Lumsden Road, Brandon, FL 33511 | Childcare will be provided during the service. Following the service: All middle school and high school students are invited to gather for pizza and volleyball. Please bring $5/student or $10/family. RSVP via email to Jeremy@wpcbrandon.org

CHOICES FUNDRAISING GALA | November 11th, 6-9 PM.  Choices will be hosting their annual fundraising gala. This event is aimed at introducing new donors to the ministry as well as celebrating life with current supporters.  Please visit their website to register and get more information. 

FOOD PANTRY | Thursday, November 4th, 9-11 AM the Redeemer Food Pantry is open for distribution and is looking for volunteers to serve in the prayer room, assisting clients with food selection, and carrying their food to their vehicles. All volunteers must be 12 years of age or older.  Contact the Redeemer Church Office for more information. 

PREPARATION FOR WORSHIP | Sunday's Scripture reading comes from Mark 2:1-12 and the sermon is entitled, "Identity in the King: Ultimate Healing"  Additionally, we will worship in song.  You can find the music in the following playlist.
