With over 300 members in more than 65 countries, the
International Coalition of Sites of Conscience offers unprecedented access to a range of sites and methodologies dedicated to connecting past struggles to today’s movements for human rights. To best share these resources, we offer multiple webinars every month.
In November, we are pleased to host
three sessions. The first, on November 3rd, will be a short webinar on "
Navigating Visitor Comments Effectively" with Braden Paynter, Director of Methodology and Practice, and Ashley Nelson, Director of Communications, who will offer strategies for avoiding harmful commentary and effectively engaging with it when it does occur in both digital and physical settings. This webinar starts at 10:00 am (EST-NY).
On November 10th, Gegê Leme Joseph, Senior Program Manager for Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, will host a
Member Spotlight alongside new Latin America and Caribbean Sites of Conscience Network member, Museu da Pessoa, to discuss the collaborative Museum’s history, unique exhibitions, and cultural programming. This webinar starts at 10:00 am (EST-NY).
Finally, on November 18th, Braden Paynter will join Linda Norris, Senior Specialist of Methodology and Practice, for a
Webinar Short to discuss language and terms as they relate to different Sites of Conscience across the globe.

We’re also pleased to announce that on Tuesday, November 30th at 8:00 am (EST-NY), seven recipients of the Coalition’s Community Engagement Grant, “
Inter-Religious Understanding Through Graphic Arts”, will present their final art pieces -- comic books centered on freedom of faith, religious diversity, and inclusion that were produced with the participation of youth and faith-based actors from their communities.
