AFAM and Shasta news:
AFAM community manager Albina will be visiting campuses of Paris, Angers and Cluny in Novembre to meet students and teams.
The meetings with students will take place:
Nov. 17th (Wednesday), 1 pm - 2 pm - meeting with Paris A&M students ( Paris campus)
Nov. 18th (Thursday), 2 pm - 3 pm - meeting with Angers A&M students (Angers campus)
Nov. 19th ( Friday), 4:30-5:30 pm - meeting with Cluny students (Cluny campus)
Students are welcome to join these meetings. Please do not hesitate to contact Albina if you want to meet her in Paris, Angers or Cluny.

Objective: Second year apprentice is looking for 3 months internship in Operational excellence, supply chain or project management
Starting date: 20 June 2022
Skills: SolidWorks, 3DExperience, Matlab, python, SQL, project management, operational excellence, native in Spanish, fluent in English and French, competent in Portuguese
Current Status: presently working in operational excellence in the automotive industry (Stellantis). Will apply for J1 visa.
Student #2
Objective: Looking for 6 months internship in Mechanical Engineering (aeronautics- ideally eVTOL/UAM)
Starting date: February 2022
Skills: Catia V5, ANSYS Fluent/CFX, PTC Creo, technical drawings and documentation preparation, manufacturing knowledge (CNC, composites), fluent in English, French and Polish, Airbus Helicopters experience
Current Status: will apply for J-1 visa

Student #3
Objective: looking for an engineering mission/VIE, which would combine both a scientific aspect and team work/communication. I have a large range of interests: from application field engineer to scientific cooperation, technical and diplomatic missions.
Starting date: as soon as possible
Skills: I have organizational skills which allow me to manage a multi-actors projects, organize events and webinars.
I’m curious, very autonomous but also a good team member. I can deal with new situations and new people, quickly adjust and figure out the best solutions to the problems.
Current Status: will apply for a J-1 Visa
Student # 4
Objective: 4 to 6 months internship in Supply Chain or Production
Starting date: March 2022
Skills: Microsoft Office; Catia V5 - CAD;Power BI; Excel; PowerPoint; Solidworks, Abaqus; Microsoft Project; Python; French; English; great ability to fit in
Current Status: Presently working with Prysmian Group (world leader in cables) in the Netherlands: 6-month Internship (Sept. 21-Feb. 22) ; will apply for J-1 visa
Alumnus # 1
Objective: Looking for an entry-level job as a Data Scientist
Stating date: Available now
Skills: Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Stanford and A&M), Python (Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, Selenium), SQL, Lean Management, Medical Imaging
Soft Skills: Collaboration, Problem-solving, Strategic Thinking
Current Status: will need sponsorship to apply for an H1B visa
