In July 2021, Founding Executive Director, Andrea Prestinario (she/her), announced she would be passing the torch in her role. You can read her statement here and our Board of Directors' statement here.

Ring of Keys then hired FORGE NYC, a boutique arts consultancy, to assist in the process of hiring a new Executive Director. With the help of FORGE, we have developed a Selection Committee that is assisting in our applicant interview process and collaborating with the Board of Directors on final selections. These individuals were selected for their non-profit experience, diversity of perspectives, and institutional knowledge of Ring of Keys as an organization.

Cynthia Nesbit (she/her) is an actor and community organizer currently residing in Cincinnati, OH. A member of Ring of Keys from its inception, she has served the organization as Outreach Ambassador since 2018. She was last seen on stage in She Persisted: The Musical (Off b’way - Harriet Tubman/ Florence Griffith Joyner). She is also a Program Coordinator for MORTAR Cincinnati, a Black-led nonprofit.
Megan Zebrowski (she/her, they/them) is a writer, director, video editor and occasional actor. With background in film production, Megan has lived and worked in various places in New York, California and Japan. In addition to her arts background, she has worked for and volunteered with several non-profit organizations.

Orientation: lesbian 
Gender Identity: female
(trans-woman is not a gender identity just physically what I am.)
Race: white (central and Southern European)
Chie Morita (she/her) is a consultant, creative producer, and consummate tinkerer dedicated to retraining our inherited habits and engineering empowering new systems in the arts. She is a Co-Founder + Partner of FORGE, a boutique consultancy devoted to helping artists and organizations take the next step in their own work. By leveraging the potential of proactive planning, holistic mentorship, and collaborative asking, Chie seeks to free Makers from historical hindrances, socialized stereotypes, and negative self-stories.

In New York, she has worked with Tony-Award-winning Broadway Producer Joey Parnes (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, End of the Rainbow), institutions including The Public Theater, Ars Nova, and New York Neo-Futurists, TriBeCa Venue Town Stages (where she created, curated, and managed the Sokoloff Arts Fellowship Program), and such independent artists and ensembles as Heather Christian and the Arbornauts, UglyRhino, and Fresh Ground Pepper.


Chie is a collaborator with the Wonderland Historical Society in New Orleans and a co-producer on an Untitled Kopp/Reece Superhero musical in development. She has also served as a Regional Coordinator for Statera Arts Mentorship: NYC and a board member for The Musical Theater Factory.
ABOUT the Executive Director Role:
Ring of Keys seeks a passionate and tenacious leader who brings with them a strong nonprofit work experience, a passion for queer representation, and fundraising skills to help guide the organization into its next chapter. 

The Ring of Keys Executive Director oversees, manages, and directs the day-to-day functions and operations of the organization and upholds the organizational ethos, mission, and systems. This role also ensures a strong communal care for the Keys community, while maintaining the nonprofit operations in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

The Executive Director is also responsible for shaping the growth and overall long-term strategic plan for Ring of Keys to ensure the organization’s success and financial sustainability.

ABOUT Ring of Keys:
Ring of Keys is a 501(c)3 non-profit, volunteer-driven, artist service organization that fosters community and visibility for musical theatre artists - onstage and off - who self-identify as queer women, transgender, and gender non-conforming artists.

Ring of Keys was Co-Founded by our current Executive Director 3.5 years ago and has grown to serve a network of 500+ artists in 40+ cities throughout the United States, Canada, and the U.K.
