Turnaround Optimization through Robust Corrosion Solutions

Description:
Presentation on the utilization of robust corrosion barrier systems as a preventative maintenance strategy or an efficient reactive solution (e.g. when corrosion is identified and has to be addressed in a turnaround) to reduce shutdown/turnaround scope and schedule due to internal metal wastage of key process equipment, e.g. CO2 amine systems/columns.

The benefits of automation – lessons learned from welding in reformer environments

Description:
Talk highlighting the benefits of automating the welding process in reformer environments. Particular focus on speed, quality and consistency of the welding compared to manual welding.

Intelligent monitoring; prevent plant shutdowns and increase turnaround efficiency

Description:
When chemical production processes fluctuate or issues occur, it can impact uptime or quality and potentially cause long spells of lost production. So incidents can be very costly and with current systems you may only find out there’s a problem when it’s too late.
The Navigance Plant Monitor supports plant teams in real time. It utilizes intelligent algorithms to automatically monitor process data and flag anomalies and deviations. In the presentation we will explain what’s behind his technology and outline the achievable time gain and benefits with case studies. Based on a checklist, you will learn what’s needed to implement intelligent monitoring in your plant and how you can build a convincing business case.

RotaScrub scrubber for 1200 & 2200 MTPD ammonia plant Ammonia Recovery Units

Description:
Current Ammonia recovery units are standard packed bed scrubbing towers, which are large bulky and in-efficient units. With the latest Ammonia RotaScrub unit, we can provide a compact and highly efficient solution for 1200 & 2200 MTPD ammonia plants. Our solution is 5-10x more compact with more efficient scrubbing due to much higher specific contact area/m3 and more efficient gas-liquid mass transfer kinetics. Our units are easy to handle and to install with less piping and construction needed. This all offers a very attractive value proposition to the customer.

HSE Project - Ammonia Flare System Upgrade

Description:
A drop-in-place DBB valve was designed & supply to replace a single ball valve, providing Dual-Safe Shut off with minimal downtime with no cutting or welding works required. Such valves Habonim design & supplies on a regular bases as close engineering support to our customers and users is part of our DNA.
