Ehsan* is like a brother to me. He is a very loving and gentle person. He is always smiling. But he was far from the Lord. I had visited Ehsan many times and spoken with him about Jesus. He heard the Word from me, but I did not see any change in his life.
 
Ehsan was diagnosed with cancer. He underwent radiation and chemotherapy treatments, which were very difficult for him. Because he had no appetite for more than two months, he lost 70 pounds. He was greatly weakened and remained in bed. He refused to have visitors. Speaking was a challenge for him. Eventually he regained some of his strength and started to eat. Doctors ensured him that he was on the healing track.
 
I called Ehsan to arrange a visit. He agreed to see me. By the power and authority of the Holy Spirit, the Lord opened a door for me to share His Word. I did not speak only to Ehsan, but also to his two sons, two daughters and his wife. While I was sharing, I felt the presence of God filling the room. Everyone was very quiet and did not move. I could sense each of them was deeply touched by God’s Word.
 
For two years, the words I shared about Jesus seemed to have little to no effect on Ehsan. But that day – in His time – God’s Word penetrated the hearts of Ehsan’s entire family. Praise be to the Lord!
