Appointment of New Secretary, Department of Biotechnology, India
Hearties congratulations to Dr. Rajesh Gokhale, Professor, Department of Biology, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune, for being appointed as the new Secretary, Department of Biotechnology, India. IC-IMPACTS is looking forward to continue working with DBT on ramping up bilateral cooperation in science and technology by strengthening existing connections, sharing best practices, and initiating new collaborations between stakeholders in the Canada-India space. I would also like to convey our best wishes to Dr. Renu Swarup, outgoing DBT Secretary, for her institutional contributions and phenomenal leadership throughout her term.

Call for Proposals: Food Security
Deadline: October 31, 2021

This call aims to fund researchers to a one-year grant to explore collaborative opportunities. The funds are related to developing solutions to our pressing problems of food insecurity. Both Research (STREAM 1) and Demonstration Projects (STREAM 2) will be funded. Early career researchers are strongly encouraged to apply. Read more
