Dear Colleague, Welcome to our November Newsletter. We are settling-in well at Institute for Global Prosperity, at University College London. I have written an introductory blog for the IGP which summarises our direction of travel. We have extended the deadlines of our two current research calls on levelling-up and alternative structures of governance for the UK. The closing date for applications has been extended to 12 November 2021, so please apply! We are delighted to be part of new initiative Government Economists for New Economics and Systems (GENESYS) led by our colleagues at NAEC at the OECD which will include Finance Ministries and Central Banks. This is a platform to explore, experiment and discuss systems-based approaches to public policy challenges. The launch is on 4 November at 14.00 pm UK time and you can join here.

We have two more Discussion Papers which we hope to post very soon. Thank you for your support and best wishes,   Angus Armstrong
