Welcome to November.

How fortunate we are to have a thriving fellowship here in SA. This month, we’re reminded of Promise 11: “With help from our ACA support group, we will slowly release our dysfunctional behaviours.”

We look forward to seeing you at a meeting soon as we continue to recover together with gentleness, humour, love, and respect. 💜

☀️ Bookings now open!

The wait is over! We are now taking bookings for the ACA SA 2022 Retreat. It’s all happening from 5pm Friday 21st of January to 2:30pm Sunday 23rd at the beautiful Nunyara Conference Centre.

'Life is difficult. This is a great truth, one of the greatest truths.'

A timeless classic in personal development, The Road Less Travelled is a landmark work that has inspired millions. Drawing on the experiences of his career as a psychiatrist, Scott Peck combines scientific and spiritual views to guide us through the difficult, painful times in life by showing us how to confront our problems through the key principles of discipline, love and grace.

Teaching us how to distinguish dependency from love, how to become a more sensitive parent and how to connect with your true self, this incredible book is the key to accepting and overcoming life's challenges and achieving a higher level of self-understanding.

The Road Less Travelled is now available for members to borrow from the ACA SA library at the Eastwood Community Centre.

🗓 Next Intergroup meeting

As always, you’re welcome to join us on the last Thursday of every month for our ACA SA Intergroup meeting.

When: Thursday November 25, 2021 from 7-8pm
Where: Zoom [http://bit.ly/aca-sa-intergroup]

Along with the latest updates from our members, we will be reading from the Big Red Book on Tradition 11: “Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion; we maintain personal anonymity at the level of press, radio, TV, films, and other public media.”

Current vacant positions for Intergroup:
Treasurer
Public information
Group Reps for each group

Following the meeting, we’d love your help in planning the ACA SA 2022 Retreat program and making sure it’s another great weekend away. We will hold our second planning meeting at the same Zoom link from Thursday November 25 at 8pm. All welcome!

That’s all from us for now. We hope that November offers plenty of support to slowly release any behaviours that no longer serve you.

Until next month!
