“This letter is to officially announce my candidacy for the <fill in the office> and to ask for your help. I am starting my campaign by reaching out to you, my friends, and the leaders of our community, to ask for your endorsement, financial support, and volunteer effort.”  This could be the introduction you might use as you consider running for the office of <fill in the blank> this year.  Has it crossed your mind?  Filing date for running is March 8th, 2022 and the primary election is May 17, 2022. 

Why would you consider running? Perhaps you have children or grandchildren and want to help preserve the freedom you have enjoyed for those who follow you?  Like most Christians you are now alarmed as you realize the even more intense culture war we are in with the new ultra-ultra-liberal-progressive-socialist-genderconfused-religious-liberty-and-freedom-attacking administration taking full control. 

Oregon Faith and Freedom would certainly like to encourage you to pray and consider the opportunity of standing in the gap for our state and nation.  Would you consider running for <fill in the blank> or other positions that are on the May, 2022 election?  If you would like to discuss the idea please email Jeffk@oregonfaithandfreedom.org

We continue to educate, organize, identify other supporters and encourage Oregon taxpayers to take $50 or $100 per couple out of the states tax coffer so it can't pay for taxpayer funded abortions (called the political action tax credit).  Your immediate help of $25, $50, $100 or more to help us protect life can take some of that money away from abortions (those state funded abortions).  Thank you for your consideration!  No gift is too large or too small, so I hope we can count on you standing with us today. Oregon is a winnable state and we should not give up on it!
