With mortgage rates holding steady at or near record lows, refinancing continues to be a powerful tool to lighten the debt burden of most homeowners. Unfortunately, minority borrowers often hold back on striking a better deal through refinancing, and may not recognize the extent to which refinancing improves the odds of sustainable homeownership.

We will be joined by Carl Windom, Accredited Financial Counselor and Financial Fitness Coach FFC® AFC® with Wealth Wisdom, LLC and Stacey Walker, Director of Housing Outreach with Freddie Mac, for a presentation and discussion that will help you work with consumers to address their misconceptions regarding refinancing. As a housing professional and trusted advisor it’s vital to help eligible borrowers take full advantage of refinancing opportunities to lower their monthly mortgage payments and better position themselves financially.
