WESTCHESTER ASIAN AMERICAN DEMOCRATS ANNOUNCE ADDITIONAL ENDORSEMENTS FOR 2021 GENERAL ELECTION
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NEW YORK – The Westchester Asian American Democrats Executive Committee have endorsed David Kim for Tarrytown Village Trustee, as well as his running mates Effie Phillips-Staley and Rebecca McGovern for Village Trustee, and Karen Brown for Village Mayor.
“We enthusiastically endorse David Kim for Tarrytown Village Board of Trustees. As the first Korean American public official in Westchester County, David’s election is significant and paramount to our mission of supporting Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) Democrats to elected office,” said Lisa Do Hofflich, WAAD Chair. “From serving on the zoning board to his professional background as an architect and urban planner, David’s knowledge and expertise on environmental sustainability, walkability and safe streets will continue to be a great asset to Tarrytown’s growth. David also compliments the collective experiences in community advocacy and commitment to equity and fairness of candidates Effie Phillips-Staley, Rebecca McGovern and Karen Brown, whom we also endorse. We value their partnership with us as our Democratic allies across Westchester County serving the growing AAPI community.”
