The Covid Curve - A Note from Linda Roth

We are happy to see that the surge of the Delta variant is slowing down and there are fewer cases in our area. So far, we have not had any COVID-19 cases on campus. Your conscientious monitoring of symptoms, keeping students home if they are not feeling well or have had a close contact with a positive case, and your willingness to test if necessary before your children return have all made a difference this fall. To continue to protect our community as we wait for vaccines to be available for the 5-11 year old students, please help us maintain our daily protocols as the temperatures get colder and our time outside is shorter. It is wonderful to have our students on campus, and we would like to have it stay that way.

Classes have planned some special Halloween events for this Friday. Check with your child’s teacher regarding costumes, and whether students should wear them to school or bring them to put over their day clothes. (Please do not send any weapons or replicas of weapons.)

Middle School students are hoping the weather cooperates and they can decorate their classroom doors and provide a trick-or-treating experience for the preschool and elementary classes.
