Ski Program FAQs
Mr. Mason will be heading up our Mt. Baker Ski Program this year. A big thanks to Mrs. Cotter for faithfully leading it for years. The Ski Program will be in February 2022 on Wednesdays.
Do I have to take a lesson?
Yes, for two reasons. Mt. Baker requires this for you to get the reduced ticket price AND the school requires this as a counterbalance to missing school for the day.
What if I have my own equipment or a season pass?
The price will be reduced! That exact price will be provided once we get a little further along in the process.
When will this be happening?
We will be going to Mt. Baker Ski Resort every Wednesday for four consecutive weeks starting on February 9.
What is the age limit?
The lower limit for lessons is age 7. However, we are recommending that any student grade 4 or lower be accompanied by a parent while on the mountain. Unfortunately, Mt. Baker is not accepting adults into the lesson program so any adults that want to ski will need to purchase their own lift tickets separately from the school.

Uniform Guidelines
A reminder that uniform-style bottoms are required. Approved bottoms are uniform-style pants, shorts, skirts, or jumpers. Leggings are NOT uniform approved.

Label your outerwear! We're getting quite a collection of jackets outside the front office on the railing. If your student is missing a coat, encourage them to look at the ones hanging on our rail. Please label your coats.

Our school board has approved a plan to have a cover built for our playground. We need to raise $100,000 more for this campaign. Every gift, large or small, will help, and it’s easy to give — simply donate through the church marking SAA Playground or send your tax-deductible check to SAA or call the front office at 360-755-9261 and we will be happy to take a credit card payment over the phone.
