- The Summer Holiday Stock Guarantee is a new support package that will soon be available for eligible hospitality or retail business owners with an annual turnover of $75,000 to $50m who are impacted by a local lockdown.
If your business is forced to close between 1 December 2021 and 31 January 2022, you can apply for a grant of up to $20,000 to compensate for loss of perishable stock, or claim $10,000 for reduced capacity to sell non-perishable items.
- From November the Small Business Fees and Charges Rebate will increase from $1,500 to $2,000 (if you’ve already signed up for the scheme your rebate will automatically be increased). In addition, you’ll be able to claim road tolls for business vehicles.
- A new $5,000 Alfresco Grant will soon be available for hospitality venue owners to establish outdoor dining areas.
