Funding and Partnership Opportunities

The Vermont Urban & Community Forestry Program is pleased to announce the following grant and partnership opportunities. Please review each opportunity for deadlines and eligibility requirements.
Communities Caring for Canopy grants act as seed funding to help communities care for their publicly managed trees and forests by taking the necessary actions to develop and sustain a community-wide tree program. These grants allow for multiple program components to be merged into one grant application for ease and flexibility.  $50,000 is available in grants ranging $1,000 - $5,000. Applications due January 7th, 2022.

VT UCF's 2021 Impact and Reach

Each year, VT UCF is required to report to the US Forest Service on the educational, technical, and financial asisstance that we provide to Vermont municipalities through our regular programming and special projects. Our staff keeps track of this information in a comprehensive database and it is grounding each year to review our overall reach and to consider how we can improve - and where to focus our capacity - in the year ahead. Check out some highlights from federal fiscal year 2021.
