BLACK PEOPLE IN HORROR FILMS
In this week’s general member meeting the Diáspora Education subcommittee did a presentation on Black people in horror films. We assumed that Black people or any other minorities are often said to be the first ones to die within horror films. But we learn that most likely they can survive if teamed with a white woman, if its an all black film, or if the villain is black. But their are horror film directors who are trying to change the culture of that, directors like William Craine, Jordan Peele and Nia Dacosta
