How can digital wages support decent work and inclusive economic recovery?

Yesterday, new commitments were made by stakeholders across the garment industry in Jordan as part of a new agenda to advance decent work by digitizing payments responsibly.

Digitizing wages not only provides companies with opportunities for enhanced productivity, efficiency and transparency, it is also an important step toward increasing financial account use and greater financial capability, especially for women who make up
73 percent of Jordan’s garment workers.
