The 144th Annual Synod of the Diocese of Quincy will be held tonight thru Saturday, October 23. This year, due to the COVID restrictions, Synod will be held in a hybrid manner. The diocesan officers and Synod organizers will be live in Peoria, while everyone else will be remote.
This is a unique opportunity for everyone to view Synod - the worship services, Bishop's address, business sessions, Bible study, and special presentations. Please see the schedule below for broadcast times.
Obviously, that is a view-only platform. If you should wish to interact (have questions or comments), we have also set up a Zoom webinar for the business sessions only. The webinar is a little different than the typical Zoom meetings you may be used to. When you join, you will be in the “audience”. If you should have a question or comment, you will need to “raise your hand” on the bottom of the screen, and the administrator will bring you in temporarily as a participant, which allows interaction.
The video feed will be the same for both Facebook and Zoom, so you have your choice.
