Hear the five Denver Public School at-large candidates, learn about
important ballot measures and update your voter registration for the Nov. 2 election. Candidates and ballot measures will have tables for you to visit at your leisure.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
1 p.m.: Tabling begins. RISE Denver measures 2A-2D will table in addition to the candidates and ballot measures listed below.
1:30 p.m.: CANDIDATE SPEECHES. All 5 Denver School Board candidates: Marla Benavides, Scott Esserman, Vernon Jones Jr., Jane Shirley, and Nicky Yolick; each have 3 minutes to speak.
2 p.m.: BALLOT MEASURE PITCHES. Representatives for and against; each have 3 minutes each to speak.
2E – National Western Center bond
2F – Repeal city code allowing up to 5 unrelated individuals to live in a single home
Yes 301/No 302 – Require public vote for an development on land covered by conservation easement
No 301/Yes 302– Revise conservation easement code to exclude Park Hill Golf Course
