Learn the art of Chess and other games with the master of fun and strategy, Nick Allison. Game supplies will be provided.

MADISON BIBLIOMANIACS
How well do you know the Harry Potter books? Test your knowledge against other teens and see who is the ultimate Potterhead. 

Wednesday, October 27th, from 4:30-5:30pm in the Community Room.

For ages 12-18. Masks encouraged, but not required.
TEEN DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS
Will the dice be in your favor? Come find out as you join other adventurous teens on a DnD quest. 

Thursday, October 28th from 4-6pm in the Community Room. 
 
TEENTOBER - HARRY POTTER ESCAPE ROOM
Who has won the Discord House Cup? Find out at our TEENtober Harry Potter Escape Room on Friday October 29th, 7-9pm in the Community Room! 

Will it be Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Gryffindor? There is still time to get sorted into your Hogwarts House and compete with other teens to help your House win on our Discord Server! If you aren't able to join Discord, no problem! Everyone is welcome to come and have FUN!

FREE Family Friendly Film Nights

Every Tuesday the Madison Library District will be showing a movie at 4pm in the Community Room.

For all ages. Children under 11 must be accompanied by someone 14+. 

IDAHO TEEN READING CHALLENGE
8 Books · 7 months · 1 state. Teens are challenged to read 8 books in these categories:

  • Graphic novel
  • Friend recommendation
  • #ownvoices book
  • Free choice (pick any book you want)
  • Book that keeps you up at night
  • Classic
  • Memoir/biography
  • a Re-Read
The challenge will run from October to April. Once completed, head to the link below to fill out the form to enter in a drawing; there will be 3 $100 gift cards up for grabs. 

ALL type of books qualify: audiobooks, eBooks, graphic novels, instructional manuals, etc.

Madison Bibliomaniacs is a book chat for teens! It's Harry Potter Trivia night on Wednesday October 27th, 4:30-5:30pm in the Community Room. From October to April, teens will be challenged to read a book from eight different categories - graphic novel, friend recommendation, #ownvoices book, book that keeps you up at night, a classic, memoir/biography, a re-read, and free choice. Once completed, fill out the form on ICFL's website to enter to win prizes. Library Loot Boxes. Sign up by the 25th of each month to receive a cool loot box full of goodies, including a new book recommendation! October book bingo. New book challenge each month with bingo! Pick up a bingo sheet from the library or print on off from online. Read books to complete challenges. Get a bingo, get a prize! The theme for October is CHEESE.
