CMAWA's Try-a-Trade Partnership

The CMAWA has partnered with the Food Fibre and Timber Industry Council WA to get involved with their Try-a-Trade program, which has been designed to encourage more young people to choose cabinet making for an apprenticeship.

This program gets young people who have been disengaged in school to try a trade at Balga TAFE to see which field they may be interested in; cabinet making being one of those trades.

The first Try-a-Trade program will be off and running as of the 25th October!

We are very excited about this program and are hopeful we can get more young people coming into our trade to try and ease the need for more workers in the industry.
