Notice of a forthcoming Disciplinary Panel hearing (R. Hannon) to be heard on Monday 25 October

The independent Disciplinary Panel of the British Horseracing Authority will convene on Monday 25 October 2021 to hear the following:

Whether Responsible Person Richard HANNON is in breach of Rule (K)1 (Presence of a Prohibited Substance) of the Rules of Racing due to the presence of arsenic in a pre-race sample taken from OH PURPLE REIGN (IRE) prior to the 15.35 Tattersalls Stakes (Class 1) (Registered as the Sommerville Tattersalls Stake) held at Newmarket racecourse on 26 September 2019;

Whether, as its pre-race sample tested positive for a Prohibited Substance, OH PURPLE REIGN (IRE) should be disqualified from the relevant race under Rule (L)47 Ground 4 (Horse Disqualifications).
