DETAIL
- Mr Mick Day (for information)
Further to the club bulletin of Monday (link), the purpose of this email is to highlight misinformation that has been provided to you.
I have seen an email from Mr Mick Day sent to clubs on 19 October 2021. I am not going to engage in unproductive email exchanges with Mr Day. I will say, however, it was mostly fanciful.
NCF, Football Mid-North Coast (FMNC) and Northern NSW Football stand by their communications to Mr Day (he’s received numerous letters from football’s governing bodies this week, and more are pending).
I understand there has been some confusion with clubs receiving emails from Mr Day under the name “NSW Football” and believing it is from Football NSW, the governing body for 200,000 registered players in Greater Sydney and the south and west of NSW.
“NSW Football League” is a registered business name for Michael Day ABN 83480048285, listed as an “Individual/Sole Trader”. In correspondence, he shortens this to “NSW Football”.
Again, Mr Day has no association with Football NSW or Northern NSW Football (or NCF or FMNC).
