SILENT AUCTION 2021

Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, the Chaplaincy Board has decided to cancel the annual fundraising dinner again and substitute a three pronged approach to raising the funds we need to meet the increased demand for our services.

1. We will hold a virtual Silent Auction during the last two weeks of November and as usual invite you to consider donating an item or two valued at $30 or more.

A list of possible auction suggestions is attached for your information along with a poster.

You can respond to our Program Coordinator, Shemi with information and a photo of your donated item.

2. If you can donate new or nearly new items that are valued at under $30, we will list these separately and invite supporters to purchase them online, for pick up from the Chaplaincy.

Members of the Y Service club will  set up and run this Gift Table project and you can register to receive updates at yservice@primus.ca.

3. As we did last year, we invite you to send a donation equal to what you would give if you were purchasing a ticket to the annual dinner, namely $50 and receive a tax receipt.

You can contribute by a cheque mailed to the Chaplaincy or by Interac e transfer to our Treasurer at treasurer@carlingtonchaplaincy.com

Thank you for your great support this current year.

David Hall,

Past President and Resource Development Chair

Check out the URL http://www.carlingtonchaplaincy.com/2020-silent-auction-fundraiser.html to see which items are available for auction. Once you have decided on the item(s) that you would like to bid on, please email auction@carlingtonchaplaincy.com with the item number, your name, and your bid. We will do our best to update the website daily with new bids. Keep an eye out for new items being added as well.

Each item has a number with a brief description, an estimated value, and a minimum opening bid. Send in your bid(s) by email.

The auction will open for bidding until Nov 28th. On the 29th of November, the winning bidder for each item will be contacted.  The items can be collected from the Chaplaincy after 11:00 am Monday through Friday although some arrangements may have to be made with the donor for pick-up of larger items.  The items can be paid for by cheque or by credit/debit card or by Interac e transfer to treasurer@carlingtonchaplaincy.com .

For more information, contact Shemi at programcoordinator@carlingtonchaplaincy.com or David Hall at davidfhall@magma.ca to offer of items for the auction.

Thanks for supporting our second virtual auction!
